Meccano "Wild Mouse" Roller Coaster Model
The long awaited Meccano Wild Mouse coaster made it's debut at the Long Eaton Model Show 2008 (22nd November). The model, made by John and Michael Molden, is fully functional in the way that the 'real' Reverchon coasters are. This is modelled on the Wild Mouse that Abie Danter travels in the UK. The video really doesn't do it justice, it has to be seen to be believed - it really is something special, which is why it rightfully won "Best In Show" at the Long Eaton show. It's not just the mouse though, John and Michael are 'unstoppable' when it comes to Meccano models, with a line up including a Top Scan, Top Spin, Drop Tower, Sizzler, Miami and big wheel.
